Sinntal Bruderhof (Bad Brückenau, Freistaat Bayern, Germany)

Sinntal Bruderhof, a community of the Society of Brothers founded in 1955 at Bad Brückenau in northern Bavaria. In 1959 the population was some 60, most of them having returned from Paraguay. The Sinntal Bruderhof earns its living by toymaking and some market gardening and is particularly active in reaching out to the younger generation in Germany. It publishes Der Pflug, the German edition of The Plough.
