The church originated in 1993 when several families that had been traveling a long distance to the Hope Mennonite Church, and the decision was made to open a church in a new area. The first service was held 25 July 1993. Severn Mennonite Church is located in Margarettsville, North Carolina, USA. The church originated in 1993 when several families that had been traveling a long distance to the Hope Mennonite Church, and the decision was made to open a church in a new area.
