Jakob Schufelberg (Schaufelberg, Schaufelberger), an Anabaptist leader in the district of Grüningen, Swiss canton of Zürich, in 1525 together with Jakob Falk and Heini Reimann. In January 1527 he was arrested in Appenzell, and in 1528 he was imprisoned in the "Täuferturm" in Zürich. At first he refused to recant, but after a long imprisonment he did so and was released on 9 September 1528.
