The Rocky View Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation at Pincher Creek, Alberta, Canada began in early 1966 when two families moved to the area from Kansas, USA. Four more families came in 1967, followed by 11 more in 1968. In the first little while worship services were held in homes, followed by several years in a house on the Alberta Ranch. The congregation formally organized on 3 October 1967. Work on a church building began in 1970, with dedication services on 2 May 1971. Deacon Ervie Koehn was an early congregational leader.

Initially most families farmed, but over the year vocations diversified to include carpentry, accounting, computer sales, a hardware store, a machine shop and a sign shop.

The Rocky View Christian School began in 1978 in a building on the church property. The first local ministers were ordained on 4 December 1975 -- Ray Nikkel and Robert Koehn. The building nearly doubled in size with an addition in 1990.

Minister Ray Nikkel served in 2001 as a non-salaried congregational leader. In 2010 Nikkel continued to serve as minister along with Gene Esau and Lorne Koehn.

The congregation also operates Rocky View Christian School.
