Emery Ensz and Ray Nikkel are considered the founding leaders of the group. The congregation originated through colonization from Kansas.

Minister Ray Nikkel served in 2001 as a non-salaried congregational leader. In 2010 Nikkel continued to serve as minister along with Gene Esau and Lorne Koehn.

The congregation also operates Rocky View Christian School.
