In 2011, Rhoda and Art Yost had a vision for a multi-cultural church plant in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They sold their hardware business in 2013 and purchased a building for a church that involved both Nepalese and Caucasian persons. After a year, because of language difficulties, the two groups worshiped separately. The small Caucasian group developed into a community Bible study group and for some years did not meet as a church. Michael Booth from the Water Street Mission began bringing people from the mission to the Bible study.

The group re-launched as a church in November 2018 as a "church for all nations" that included African Americans, Kenyans, and Caucasians with Yost and Booth as co-pastors. The Bhutanese-Nepali part of the congregation also continued. The congregation is related to LMC: a Fellowship of Anabaptist Churches.
