The Rio Verdinho [[Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (CGC)|Church of God in Christ, Mennonite]] congregation in Rio Verdinho, Rio Verde, Goiás, [[Brazil]] was established in 1987. The congregation started as an outreach of the [[Monte Alegre Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (Rio Verde, Goiás, Brazil)|Monte Alegre congregation]].

Some of the new Holdeman settlers in Brazil had purchased land some distance from the Monte Alegre church. Because of bad roads and driving distance they expressed interest in forming a separate congregation. Plans in 1976 did not materialize, although the Rio Verdinho school was launched in 1983. Finally, when the Monte Alegre building was full, the congregation planned for the Rio Verdinho church.

The first worship service in a new building took place 13 December 1987. The congregation added a fellowship hall and Sunday school rooms in 1992.

In 2019 the congregation was part of the [[Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (CGC)|Church of God in Christ, Mennonite]]. The ministers were Mervin Loewen and Sergio Alves; there were 72 members.
