The Rio Verde Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in Rio Veo Verde, Goiás, Brazil was established in 1979. The congregation started as an outreach of the Monte Alegre congregation.

Beginning n 1974 a van carried people from Rio Verde to services at Monte Alegre. A small house in town was purchased and renovated, with the first service held 17 June 1979. Daniel Kramer and Charles Becker were the first leaders of the Rio Verde congregation. Weekly services began in 1980. Services were discontinued for 18 months, but reinstated in 1982. A new church was completed in April 1985, and the Rio Verde congregation received independent congregational status on 19 May 1985. Cláudio Gonçalves Silves was ordained to the ministry on 31 May 1987.

In 2019 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The minister was José Luís de Carvalho; there were 53 members.
