Rieme Douwedochter (d. 1535)

Rieme Douwedochter of Jelsum, Dutch province of Friesland, was arrested on 7 April 1535, during the recapture of the Oldeklooster near Bolsward, which had been taken by revolutionary Anabaptists. She was brought to Leeuwarden, capital of Friesland, and drowned there with a number of other victims on 14 April 1535.
