Ridgeland Hutterite Colony was founded in 1967 (Hofer states 1965) as a division from the Springfield Hutterite Colony. In 2012 Ridgeland Colony was a  Schmiedeleut Group 1 colony. The minister was Mark Waldner and the manager was Jerry Wollman.
