Jean (Jan) des Rameaux was a preacher of the Flemish Mennonite congregation of "den Blok" at Haarlem, Holland, about 1650. With his colleague Koenraad van Vollenhoven  he took the side of the more progressive Galenus Abrahamsz of Amsterdam, against Isaac Snep and other conservative leaders of the Haarlem Flemish congregation. This led to serious discord in 1665 and to a schism in this congregation in 1671.
