Pleasant Valley Hutterite Colony in Clive, Alberta, was founded in 1970 (Hofer says 1969) as a division from the Veteran Hutterite Colony.

Daughter colonies of the Pleasant Valley Hutterite Colony include: Byemoor Hutterite Colony (Byemoor, Alberta, Canada); and Hartland Hutterite Colony (Bashaw, Alberta, Canada).

In 2017 Pleasant Valley Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
