The Pinawa Christian Fellowship (PCF) in Pinawa, Manitoba, Canada, came into being after Atomic Energy of Canada Limited established a national research center in an isolated spot along the Winnipeg River in the post-World War II years. A group of scientists, engineers, and technical staff met in Deep River on 30 January 1963 to explore the possibility of forming a congregation of like-minded Christians in Pinawa.

Initially, a lot was set aside for a Protestant church, but it was never developed. Rather the initial group began meeting in the local elementary school. The first meeting of the Pinawa Christian Fellowship was held in Pinawa in early October 1963. A committee organized fellowship activities and established liaison with six denominations: Anglican, Baptist, Lutheran, Mennonite, Presbyterian, and United Church of Canada. Roy Vogt was the initial contact with the Conference of Mennonites in Manitoba. In later years the core denominations were Anglican, Mennonite, Presbyterian, and United Church of Canada.

The first Sunday morning worship service was held in the school on 3 November 1963. The number of members who identified themselves as Mennonites has been low. The records of 1980 indicated that there was only one person that identified as a Mennonite. As the demographics of Pinawa and PCF changed, there were more retirees moving into town and the surrounding area. As a result, a few more Mennonites have shown up for worship or have decided to make PCF their home congregation. In spite of the low numbers, PCF has endorsed and supported the Mennonite Central Committee and the Mennonite Disaster Service throughout the years. PCF has also continued to send financial support to Mennonite Church Manitoba.

In 2020 there were six persons self-identified as Mennonite in the congregation.
