Piedra Viva Menonita (Elkhart, Indiana, USA)
The Piedra Viva Menonita had its first public worship service on 22 December 2019 at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church building in Elkhart, Indiana. The Spanish-speaking church was the vision of Naun Cerrato, a recent graduate of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, and an immigrant from Honduras.
The congregation became a member of the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference of Mennonite Church USA in 2021.
Piedra Viva holds weekly English-language classes and workshops about U.S. immigration laws and procedures. It continued to meet at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church.
