Pickle Lake Gospel Chapel (Pickle Lake, Ontario, Canada)
The Pickle Lake Gospel Chapel began services and formally organized in 1967. The first building was occupied in 1967. The congregation originated through outreach by Northern Light Gospel Mission.
In 1975 there were 6 members; in 1985, 10; in 2000, 7; in 2014, 6. It had been affiliated with the Northern Light Gospel Mission from 1967 to 1990, at which time it became an unaffiliated Mennonite church. The languages of worship were Ojibwe (Anishinabe) and English.
In 1998 Harvey Hochstetler was ordained as the pastor of the church with Ralph Halteman as assistant pastor. In 2014 Hochstetler continued to serve the congregation as minister.
