Peoria North Mennonite Church (Peoria, Illinois, USA)
The Peoria North Mennonite Church, Peoria, Illinois, USA, began in 1984 when ten members of the United Mennonite Church wanted to explore planting a church on the north side of Peoria. Ryan Ahlgrim did a feasibility study and was called to be the congregation's first pastor. It held its first service on 12 February 1984. The congregation joined both the Central District Conference of the General Conference Mennonite Church and the Illinois Mennonite Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC).
The church purchased a building in 1990 after worshipping in rented spaces for its first years.
The church was last listed in the 2000 Mennonite Directory though the building had been sold in 1999 to the New Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
