Novosofievka (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine)

Novosofievka (Novo-Sofievka, formerly Nikolaithal), a volost in the province of Ekaterinoslav in the Mennonite Borozenko settlement, a daughter of the Chortitza settlement, founded in 1865, with the following seven villages: Novosofievka, Felsenbach (Mariapol), Blumenfeld, Steinau, Hamburg, Neubergthal, and Hoffnungsort. Novosofievka had 2,675 acres of land and (1912) 96 inhabitants.
