The Northumberland Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, [[Canada]] began services in 1985. The first building was occupied in 1989. The Northumberland Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, Canada began when families from western Canada began to purchase farms in 1985.

Initially, services were held in the basement of the Paul Bartel family. In 1987 nineteen acres of land two miles east of Tatamagouche were purchased, and a combination church and school was constructed in 1988/89.
