Newell Hutterite Colony near Bassano, Alberta, was founded in 1962 as a division from the O. K. Hutterite Colony. In 2012 the Newell Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony. The minister was Peter Waldner and the manager was John Kleinsasser.
