The New York Hutterite Bruderhof (Dariusleut), located near Stirling, Alberta, was founded in 1924 as a division from the West Raley Hutterite Colony. The population in 1950 was 110, with Jacob Hofer as head minister. 

Daughter colonies of New York Hutterite Colony include: Little Bow Hutterite Colony (Champion, Alberta); Scotford Hutterite Colony (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta); and Simmie Hutterite Colony (Admiral, Saskatchewan).

In 2017 the New York Hutterite Colony was a Dariusleut colony.
