The New Rosedale [[Hutterian Brethren (Hutterische Brüder)|Hutterite]] [[Bruderhof|Bruderhof]], 15 miles (25 km.) southwest of Portage la Prairie, [[Manitoba (Canada)|Manitoba]], was founded in 1944 by Andreas Hofer and 11 families from the [[Rosedale Hutterite Colony (Elie, Manitoba, Canada)|Rosedale Bruderhof near Elie]], Manitoba. In 1947 the population of the colony was 87, of whom 32 were baptized members.

In 2012 the colony was a member of the  the [[Schmiedeleut|Schmiedeleut]] Group 2. The minister of the colony was Arnie Maendel and the manager was James Maendel.
