New Foundation United in Christ Fellowship (Elkhart, Indiana, USA)
The House of Power, southwest of Elkhart, Indiana, began in 1994 as a Bible study in the home of Robert and Maria Crockett. The Crocketts came from an African American Pentecostal background. Their community work extended to prison ministry and persons struggling with addiction. The church has also run a daycare ministry in Elkhart.
The congregation took over the former Locust Grove Mennonite Church building in a rural area. This has meant most participants commute some distance to the church. The House of Power worked with Church Without Walls and the Fellowship of Hope. Ownership of the building was turned over to the congregation in the early 2020s by the Indiana-Michigan Mennonite Conference.
In 2013, the House of Power changed its name to New Foundation United in Christ Fellowship.
