Neuendorf Mennonite Church was a subsidiary of the Chortitza Mennonite Church in the Ukraine. In 1905 the total population was 1,620, of whom 732 were baptized members. Neuendorf had a meetinghouse, but was otherwise an integral part of the mother church.
