Nachrichten aus der Heidenwelt (Periodical)
Nachrichten aus der Heidenwelt was an eight-page, 7x10 in. missionary paper published monthly from January 1877 to December 1881 by the General Conference Mennonite Church (GCMC) in cooperation with Western Publication Company, Halstead, Kansas, edited by C. J. van der Smissen, with a children's section edited by Christian Schowalter. The paper was discontinued when the Christlicher Bundesbote was started in January 1882, and resumed in January 1885 as a four-page 9x12 ½ in. paper published in Berne, Indiana. The last issue appeared in December 1887. Its purpose was to give information concerning GCMC Indian mission work.
