Mountain View Bible College (Didsbury, Alberta, Canada)
The Mountain View Bible College, Didsbury, Alberta, was founded in 1926 by the Mennonite Brethren in Christ (United Missionary Church). The school had an enrollment of 35 in 1956-57 and offered work leading to degrees in music, theology, and sacred literature. A fifth year of work leading to the Th.B. degree was added. An administration building, a music studio, a library and classroom buildings in addition to dormitories comprised the plant. The Conference Tabernacle was also located on the campus. Two of the eight faculty members in 1956 held master's degrees and four had bachelor's degrees.
Mountain View Bible College merged with Hillcrest Christian College in Medicine Hat, Alberta (the college of the Evangelical Church of Canada) in 1992 to form Rocky Mountain College in Calgary, Alberta.
