Mount Hermon Mennonite Church (Stanardsville, Virginia, USA)
Mount Hermon Mennonite Church (Mennonite Church), also known as Mutton Hollow Church, located in Stanardsville in the Blue Ridge Mountains between Lydia and Geer, Green County, Virginia, was originally a mission church under the Virginia Mennonite Conference. The congregation was organized in 1936 and services were first held in a Brethren church. In April 1947 a new stone building was dedicated.
The membership in 1957 was 20, with Warren A. Kratz as minister. In 2014 the church had 47 members and was a member of the Southeastern Mennonite Conference. The ministerial team included Bishop Nelson R. Showalter, Ministers Vernon Peachey and Jonathan Lee, and Deacon Mervin Glick.
