The Milwaukee Mennonite Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA began in 2006 as a small group meeting in homes. The group included about 20 people, most of them children. The adults were white and youngish (25-40 years old). Several members were educators, some were graduate students, several worked at home, and others in engineering, information technology, and medicine.
The congregation has always rented space and has no paid staff. It has met on Sunday afternoons.
By 2017, the congregation included about 60 people in 20 households. About 25 were school-age children. About half of the participants had roots in other faith traditions—Evangelical, Methodist, Lutheran, Catholic, Brethren, Buddhist—and about half had roots in the Mennonite faith tradition.
In 2022 the congregation was part of the Central District Conference of Mennonite Church USA.
