Mesa View Mennonite Church (Olathe, Colorado, USA)
The Mesa View Mennonite Church west of Olathe, Colorado, USA, was established in 1993. The congregation started when James Cox of Macon, Mississippi accepted a job as a helicopter pilot in Montrose, Colorado. His family followed, and the area became a destination of the Colonization Board of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The first services were held in a home in January 1992. Other families began to move to the area that year; in August 1992, the group began meeting in a small church building at North 9th Street and Cascade in Montrose. In August 1993, the young congregation began meeting at the Olathe Community Building for worship and began a school in the former Menoken Public School.
The congregation was formally organized as the Mesa View Mennonite Church on 17 December 1993 with 29 charter members. It moved to its own building in about 2001.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The minister was Gregg Koehn.
