Early issues were not dated nor numbered, but publication apparently began in March 1949. The editors have been Carl M. Hostetler 1949-50, Lillie S. Kaufman 1950-51, the executive committee of the association 1951-53, Samuel J. Bucher 1953-58, Samuel J. Bucher and Merle Eshleman 1958- .
