Hendrik Wiebes Meihuizen, b. 29 August 1906, d. 26 November 1983,  was pastor of the Mennonite congregations at Wieringen (1933) Veendam-Pekela (1936), and The Hague (1938). From 1965 to 1976 he was lecturer in the history of [[Anabaptism|Anabaptists]] and Mennonites at the [[Amsterdam Mennonite Theological Seminary (Kweekschool)|Amsterdam Mennonite Theological Seminary]].

He published the following volumes: <em>Galenus Abrahams 1622-1706: Strijder voor een onbeperkte verdraagzaamheid en verdediger van het Doperse Spiritualisme</em> (Haarlem, 1954); <em>Menno Simons: IJveraar voor het herstel van de nieuwtestamentische gemeente, 1496-1561</em> (Haarlem, 1961); and <em>Van Mantz tot Menno: de verbreiding van de doperse beginselen</em> (Amsterdam, 1975). He also published the first critical edition of [[Menno Simons (1496-1561)|Menno Simons]] <em>[[Foundation and Plain Instruction of the Saving Doctrine of Our Lord Jesus Christ|Foundation Book]]</em> (Menno Simons, <em>Dat Fundament Des Christelycken Leers</em> [The Hague, 1967]. He was working on an edition of the complete theological works of [[Menno Simons (1496-1561)|Menno Simons]] at the time of his death.
