Cornelis Jans Mandemaker was a Dutch Mennonite preacher, belonging to the Flemish branch, who about 1630 was ordained as elder of the Arnhem congregation by Adriaen Cornelis, elder of Dordrecht. Mandemaker was one of the moderate Flemish and in 1632 signed the Dordrecht Confession both personally and in the name of his congregation. He lived at Arnhem on Ketelstraat and apparently was a basketweaver, from which trade he or his father derived his name. The congregation met as early as 1607. Cornelis Jans died before 1649, since in this year the congregation of Arnhem had no preacher.
