Main Centre Hutterite Colony near Rush Lake, Saskatchewan, was founded in 1963 as a division from the Rockport Hutterite Colony (Magrath, Alberta, Canada).

A daughter colony of the Main Centre Hutterite Colony is the Beechy Hutterite Colony (Beechy, Saskatchewan, Canada).

In 2017 the Main Centre Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony.
