Maakal, Wolter Martens (ca. 1760-1846)
Wolter Martens Maakal, (ca. 1760-1846) was the last lay preacher of the congregation of Warns, Friesland, Netherlands, serving there in 1810-1816. He was unmarried and had formerly been the captain of a ship. Some sermons which he used to read in the meetings have been preserved.
