Lowe Farm Bergthaler Mennonite Church (Lowe Farm, Manitoba, Canada)
The Lowe Farm Mennonite Church traces its beginning to 1900. A few Mennonite families from the Winkler and Altona area of Manitoba that began to settle in the Lowe Farm area as early as 1895, initially worshiped in English with some Baptists and held a German Sunday School. The Bergthaler Mennonite Church of Manitoba based in Altona starting having monthly worship services in the area in 1905. The Lowe Farm Bergthaler Mennonite Church was then formally organized in 1914. They subsequently occupied their own first building in 1928.In 1947 this building was expanded. In 1964 a new larger meeting house was completed.
The language of worship is English; the transition from German occurred in the 1960s.
