The Living Springs Mennonite Church of Hythe congregation near Hythe, Alberta, Canada began in the late 1980s when families moved to the area for work in the logging industry and to establish businesses.

For the first few years services were held in homes. In April 1990 the families began to use a rented building in Hythe. The Living Springs congregation officially organized on 30 January 1991. In 1992 the group moved to larger building. In spring 1995 the congregation purchased property four miles east of Hythe on Highway 672. They constructed a building to be used for both church and school, and opened it for use in January 1996.

For a number of years ministers did not live in the community. In 2000 Adin Klassen (1941-2016) retired to nearby Beaverlodge and served as the resident minister.

In 2019 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The minister was Frank Banman.

The church also operates the Living Springs Christian School which began in September 1992 in a vacant house, but moved to the new facility in 1996.
