Living Faith Church of God in Christ, Mennonite (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA)
The Living Faith Church of God in Christ, Mennonite congregation southeast of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA was established in about 1983. There had been local converts previously, but they had eventually joined other congregations. In the early 1980s, tent meetings were held in the Shippensburg area, and in May 1982, the mission board placed a mobile home for holding monthly worship services. The first communion service was held in November 1983.
In 1984 the congregation purchased a plot of land, and with the help of other Holdeman congregations, a church was erected. It was dedicated on 26 May 1985. In 1994 the congregation began construction of a new church that was dedicated on 20 October 1995. The former church building was converted for use as a school.
The Living Faith School began in 1984 in a mobile home.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Mike Nightingale and Rawlin Nightingale.
