Lippenhuizen (Friesland, Netherlands)

Lippenhuizen is a village in the Dutch province of Friesland, where there is said to have been a Mennonite church in the early days. By 1686 it had already been incorporated into the neighboring congregation of Gorredijk, which is still known as Gorredijk-Lippenhuizen. The Lippenhuizen meetinghouse, built in 1802 and rebuilt in 1875, was used until 14 September 1947 and then sold.
