Lime Springs Mennonite Church (Lime Springs, Iowa, USA)
The Lime Springs Mennonite Church in Lime Springs, Iowa, USA was established in March 1996. The congregation started when the Heartland congregation's church building was no longer large enough, and the decision was made to divide the congregation. Lime Springs is located 16 miles east of McIntire.
In downtown Lime Springs, the Presbyterian Church had offered its building to the Heartland congregation in 1994, and it was accepted. In March 1996, Randy Unruh was ordained as a minister and became the leader of the Lime Springs group that was formally organized at that time. In about 2007, the congregation moved from Lime Springs to a new church at its present location on the edge of town.
The congregation also operates the Pine Grove School.
In 2020 the congregation was part of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. The ministers were Gordon Holdeman and Mark Loewen.
