Lambert van Doornick, an Anabaptist martyr, was seized with five brethren, Adriaen van Hee, Joos Meeuwens, Willem de Hoedemaeker, Goossen de Hoedemaecker, and Egbert de Hoedemaecker, as they were holding an evening service near Doornik (Tournai) in Flanders in 1558, and burned at the stake in a forest on Hennegau territory.
