Lafayette Mennonite Fellowship (Lafayette, Indiana, USA)
The Lafayette Mennonite Fellowship in Lafayette, Indiana, USA originated from a Mennonite Student Fellowship, which formed in the 1950s and began meeting weekly in 1978 when Joyce Baumgartner initiated a regular weekly Bible study at Purdue University. The fellowship was received as a congregation into the Central District Conference of the General Conference Mennonite Church in March 1984 and the Indiana-Michigan Conference of the Mennonite Church (MC) at about the same time.
The Fellowship met in various locations during its history, including members' homes, the chapel at St. John's Episcopal Church, First United Methodist, the Lafayette Senior Center, and the Lafayette Friends Meetinghouse.
In 2008 or early 2009, the Lafayette Mennonite Fellowship disbanded.
