Lambert Hermansz ten Kate, b. 23 January 1674 at [[Amsterdam (Noord-Holland, Netherlands)|Amsterdam]], d. there 14 December 1731, was the son of Herman ten Kate and Sara Blaupot. He was one of the educated and generally gifted men, of whom the Amsterdam Mennonite Church had a great many at the time.
