Küntzi, Hans and Kleinhans (16th century)

Hans Küntzi and his son Kleinhans (or Junghans) were both wool weavers of Oberglatt, canton of Zurich, Switzerland. They were natives of Klingnau in the canton of Aargau, and in 1526 were among the Anabaptists there. Kleinhans Küntzi was active in the canton of Zurich, from which he was banished between 1526 and 1529. He baptized many Anabaptist converts. He was executed at Liechtenstein before 26 December 1529. A Paul (Pauli) Kuntzi from Stalden in the canton of Bern was named as Anabaptist in 1535.
