Jehan (Jan) (van) Moyaert, a rather unknown Anabaptist leader, was active in Flanders about 1564. He was then about 40 years of age and a textile merchant at Rijssel (Lille) or Doornik (Tournai). Was he a relative (or ancestor) of the Dutch Flemish Moyer family, to which the elder Pieter Jansz Moyer (Mooyer) belonged?
