Jaecxken van Hussele (d. 1569)

Jaecxken van Hussele, an Anabaptist martyr, was burned at the stake on 22 December 1569 on die Vrijdagsmarkt at Ghent, after having been strangled, together with Tanneken van der Meulen and Jaecx­ken Teerlings. Particulars are not available. Their names are found in a song "Als men schreef duyst vijfhondert Jaer," of the Lietboecxken van den Offer des Heeren, edition of 1578 and following.
