Israels, Ben (17th century)

Ben Israels, pseudonym of the author of Tractaet der Buytengetrouwden (Amsterdam, 1628). The author, who rejects the severe practice of forbidding intermarriage, is either Anthoni Jacobsz (Roscius) of Hoorn, or Yeme de Ringh of Harlingen, both preachers of the Dutch Waterlanders.
