Iglesia Menonita Rey de Gloria (Brownsville, Texas, USA)
The Iglesia Menonita Rey de Gloria (King of Glory Mennonite Church) in Brownsville, Texas, began in 1999 as an effort to work with undocumented people and serve those who fall through the cracks. It helped with housing, health kits, clothing, and food. It also has provided daycare services during the summers. It became part of the South Central Mennonite Conference of Mennonite Church USA.
In 2023, the South Central Mennonite Conference withdrew from Mennonite Church USA and, in 2024, chose to become a district of LMC: a Fellowship of Anabaptist Churches. Iglesia Menonita Rey de Gloria thus became part of LMC.
