Iglesia Menonita Buenas Nuevas (San Juan, Texas, USA)
The Iglesia Menonita Buenas Nuevas (Good News Mennonite Church) in San Juan, Texas, began in the mid-1990s under Conrado Hinojosa's leadership. Its location near the U.S.-Mexico border means it is deeply involved in immigration issues, though it has become a multicultural community for Anglo-Saxon, Latino, and African Americans seeking to advance the Kingdom of God. It became a member of the South Central Mennonite Conference.
In 2023, the South Central Mennonite Conference withdrew from Mennonite Church USA and, in 2024, chose to become a district of LMC: a Fellowship of Anabaptist Churches. Iglesia Menonita Buenas Nuevas thus became part of LMC.
