Horndean Mennonite Church began services and formally organized in 1985. The congregation had been affiliated with the Nationwide Fellowship Churches since 1985, but in 2013 the congregation was a member of the Conservative Mennonite Church of Ontario. At that time the church operated the Horndean Christian Day School.

The language of worship is English.
