Hechtlein, Hans (16th century)
Hans Hechtlein (not Hechtler), a parson at Schalkhausen near Ansbach, Germany, was arrested in 1530 on the charge that he had accepted re-baptism. At his cross-examination he openly confessed that not only he, but also his wife and his mother, had been baptized on confession of their faith. Even on the rack he denied having spread seditious doctrines. He was therefore expelled. Nothing more is known of him.
