Havelte, a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe (coordinates: 52.773889, 6.238333 [52° 46′ 26″ N, 6° 14′ 18″ E]), where until 1650 were found a number of Mennonites. In 1608 the Reformed pastor of Havelte made a complaint at the synod that Mennonites of his town refused to have their children baptized. Nothing is known about a congregation in Havelte.
